YJI - Powerless AU - The Runaways

A gang of kids known on the streets as "The Runaways". Tye and Eduardo come from broken homes, with Tye having an abusive step-father while Eduardo's father puts his work before his son. Asami was an exchange student from Japan living with Virgil and his father and sister, but she has no desire to return to her family and hopes to immigrate into the United States when she turns 18.

Asami has a calming effect on Tye and his anger issues, while Eduardo finds comfort in the loving atmosphere at Virgil's house, though half of them feel safer on the streets than in their own homes.
